Terrific Tristan

Today Tristan was awarded "Terrific Kid" by his teacher, his school, and the Kiwanis Club of Chapel Hill. Oma, Opa, Jennifer, and I were there for the ceremony.

This is a huge deal. Not only is it the highest individual award one can achieve at Glenwood, but it's one that Tristan has been working toward since Kindergarten, but narrowly avoided earning each year. We are extremely proud of him for finally bringing it home. His Terrific Kid bumper sticker will be added to the rear window of the truck.

Here are all the Terrific Kid winners for October. The boy to the left of Tristan, and everyone to the right of him (in his row) were the winners for his class. Six for his class? At this rate, only 48 people in his class will be able to win Terrific Kid this year. There are maybe 24 people in his class.
